What makes a Malaysian cuisine so interesting? Is it about the ingredient or is it about the recipe? What makes it so unique that it can brings out the richness of each dish that shows the culture within it?
With the diversity cultures in Malaysia, the love of good food is, undoubtedly, the one trait shared by all Malaysians. Malaysia has some of the most imaginative and tasty cuisines created by the mingling of cultures over many generations. Through the ‘agak-agak’ (roughly) concept, the amount of flavourful herbs and spices are based on the cook's senses and feelings. The combination of herbs and spices creates an incredible variety of flavours that brings out the culture of Malaysia.
It is not just about food, it also tells the stories of Malaysia - the people, the culture and the tradition.
